 Raised in Fort Lee, New Jersey, Jonathan refined his taste buds early in life. With his enthusiastic and epicurious father, he sampled the latest dishes at varied New York City notables, while more casual Sunday dinners with his mother’s family introduced him to the comforts of Italian cuisine.

 Jonathan moved into the heart of NYC for his college years. He earned a degree in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Time spent in NYC also honed Jonathan’s intrinsic ability to absorb and extract the hip―from food to design to hotspots. After graduation, he tried his hand at a few different jobs, including a position in finance. Nothing, however, seemed to be the right fit.

 Migrating south to Miami offered not just a change of scenery but new opportunities in the food industry. For Jonathan, the most exciting aspect of Sustain is to see his and his partner’s vision realized, as it becomes a staple in the community.  He looks forward to sharing his infectious excitement for food, design, and recreation with Miami.
